dc.description.abstract | The prevailing understanding on the use of temporary work contracts is that the situation is stable, that the great majority of employees work on long-term contracts. Extensive use of rented labour and irregular work relations is considered to be an issue primarily in the building and Construction sector. Our analysis shows that there is more variation in the use of temporary contracts through specialized work agencies than previously perceived. In the study, we employ microeconomic data from annual accounts to investigate the variability between subsectors of the food and beverages industry. Our analysis also includes some data for distributive trades for comparison. | en_US |
